Why is the app so large?
ReadVoice recognizes speech entirely on your device – no internet needed. To do this, the app includes special speech models that are built right in. These models are what turn speech into text – think of them like a dictionary, just much bigger. This is exactly what makes the app so private: your voice messages never leave your phone.
